Keyword Search Tips
Use keywords to quickly search for a certain position or to narrow down your search results. Keywords are particularly useful if you’re searching for a specific company or type of vessel. Searches can include one word, multiple words or phrases.
One word searches will bring up all jobs that have your search word in either the title or the description of the ad. If your search word is the same as a job category the results will display all jobs within this category.
Multiple word searches will display all jobs that include both words in either the description or the job title. These words will not necessarily appear together and must be separated by a comma
without a space. For example Purser,Cruise.
Phrase searches allow you to group words together to search for the exact phrase. For example Cruise Director will bring up all jobs with this exact phrase in either the title or the job description.
Case Sensitive
Key word searches are not case sensitive. All letters, regardless of how you type them, will be understood. For example, a search for Chief Engineer, chief engineer or ChiEf engiNeEr will all return the same results.
