Standard Ad Package Terms and Conditions
- Standard Ad Package refers to the bundle of ads purchased, not the individual ads.
- Standard Ad Packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
- An e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you supplied in your registration form 5 days prior to your Ad Package expiration date. If for some reason you do not receive this e-mail Saltwaterjobs can not be held responsible.
- Your selected number of ads will be credited to your account within 30 minutes of
completing the payment transaction.
- You have up to 6 months to publish each individual ad, once published each ad will
run for 30 consecutive days.
- Once purchased, Standard Ad Packages can not be changed.
- You may top up your account with another Standard Ad Package of your choice at any time. Your selected number of ads will be added to your account within 30 minutes of completing the payment transaction. Both old and new Ad Packages will be combined and the validity of your account will be extended by 6 months.
- Should you wish to change to a Monthly Ad Management Account, you must use up all
your remaining ads in your Standard Ad Package first.
- Standard Ad Packages can be paid by secure online payment or invoice.
- Should you choose to pay your account by invoice, one will be e-mailed to your registered
e-mail address upon completing the payment transaction.
- Payment terms are 14 days from the date of purchase.
Monthly Ad Management Account Terms and Conditions
- Monthly Ad Management Accounts are based on a 12 month contract.
- Your selected number of ads will be credited to your account within 30 minutes of
completing the payment transaction.
- You will have 1 calendar month to use your monthly ad allowance.
- Each ad within your package has a validity of 30 consecutive days once published
live on Saltwaterjobs.com..
- Your account will be rolled over monthly on the same date of purchase at exactly
00:01 for 12 consecutive months.
- Any remaining ads in your account at the time of the rollover will be purged.
- You will be notified by e-mail once your monthly allowance has been spent and 5
days prior to the rollover. You will also receive e-mail notification 2 weeks prior
to your 12 month contract expiration date.
- Notification e-mails will be sent to the e-mail address on your registration form,
if for some reason you do not receive notification Saltwaterjobs can not be held
responsible.
- Additional ads will be charged to your monthly account at the Standard Job Ad price.
- Your Monthly Ad Management Account can be upgraded at any time during your 12 month
contract; however doing this will result in a new contract and rollover date. Your
selected number of ads will be added to your remaining ads available for the month.
You will have 1 calendar month before your account is rolled over. Your first invoice
will be issued at the time of purchase; consecutive monthly invoices will follow
each time your account is rolled over.
- You may not change to a Standard Ad Package during the life of your Monthly Ad Management
Account. Should you wish to change to a Standard Ad Package you will need to do
so once your 12 month contract has expired.
- Monthly Ad Management Accounts can be paid by secure online credit card payment
or invoice. Credit card payments will be subject to recurring monthly charges for
each subsequent invoice over the 12 month contract.
- Should you choose to pay your account by invoice, one will be e-mailed to your registered
e-mail address upon completing the payment transaction.
- Payment terms are 14 days from the date of purchase.
General Terms & Conditions
- Saltwater Jobs Pty. Ltd. (Saltwaterjobs.com) is the operator and owner of this site.
- Users of the Site agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which are subject to change at the sole discretion of Saltwaterjobs.com and will be effective immediately upon posting the modified terms on the Site. Your use of and access to the Site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Saltwaterjobs.com is not liable to Users in respect of any loss or damage (including consequential loss or damage) which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect of services offered and/or supplied by Saltwaterjobs.com.
- Saltwaterjobs.com accepts no liability for any damages (including direct, indirect, consequential, incidental and exemplary) in the event that the Site is unavailable to Users for any reason, including but not limited to computer or communications link downtime attributable to malfunction, upgrades or preventative or remedial maintenance activities.
- Users acknowledge that they are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords and login name and are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under their login name. Saltwaterjobs.com accepts no liability whatsoever for the misuse of passwords and log in codes.
- Users acknowledge that all intellectual property in relation to material on the Site, including material submitted by Users to the Site belongs to Saltwaterjobs.com. Users obtain no interest in that material, and/or forgo any intellectual property rights in any material they submit to the Site, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing. All material on the Site is protected by Australian and international copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- Users indemnify Saltwaterjobs.com, its officers, employees and agents against any claim, demand, injury, direct or indirect damage, loss or cost, liability, right of action or claim for compensation in contract, under statute or in tort (including negligence) made against or suffered by Saltwaterjobs.com arising, in whole or in part, as a result of any actions by the User.
- These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the state of Victoria. The parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts exercising jurisdiction there.
- If any part of this agreement is held invalid that part shall be severed from this agreement and the remainder of it will continue to be valid and enforceable.
Advertisers Terms & Conditions
- These terms and conditions are subject to warranties and liabilities that cannot by law be disclaimed. Saltwaterjobs.com liability for any breach of a condition in relation to supply by it of services to Users is limited to, at Saltwaterjobs.com discretion, supply of the services again, or the payment of the cost of supplying the services again.
- Users warrant that all information they provide on the Site is accurate at the time of publishing, does not breach any law or the rights of any person. Users must not impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent their affiliation with a person or entity.
- Saltwaterjobs.com may, at its discretion, refuse to accept for publication (or remove from the Site) a job ad if it believes the job ad may infringe the rights of any person.
- Saltwaterjobs.com cannot and does not guarantee or warrant to the Advertiser that files available for downloading through the Site or delivered via electronic mail through the Site will be free of infection or viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other code that manifest contaminating or destructive properties. Advertisers are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and checkpoints to satisfy their particular requirements for accuracy of data input and output, and for maintaining a means external to the Site for the reconstruction of any lost data.
- Saltwaterjobs.com makes every effort to avoid errors in advertisements it has agreed to post to the Site. However, Saltwaterjobs.com accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors and requires that Advertisers check their advertisements for errors as soon as they are placed on the Site. All reasonable efforts will be undertaken by Saltwaterjobs.com to edit errors brought to Saltwaterjobs.com attention as soon as reasonably possible.
- Saltwaterjobs.com agrees to use reasonable efforts to publish advertisements in the shortest possible time. Saltwaterjobs.com is not liable for any loss or damage incurred by an Advertiser as a result of any failure or delay in listing an advertisement.
- Advertisers agree not to use the Site to post any pyramid scheme on the Site and also agree not to ask or require any candidate to pay a fee, charge, cost or any money whatsoever to apply for any job advertised on the Site whether such fee, charge, cost or money is asked or required of the candidate in the job advertisement itself or in any communication with the candidate that takes place as a result of a job advertisement placed on the Site.
- Fees payable under this agreement are exclusive of GST.
- All amounts owing to Saltwater Jobs Pty. Ltd. (ACN 128 650 377) by Advertisers must be paid within 14 days of the date of invoice notwithstanding any errors or omissions in any advertisement placed on the site. Saltwaterjobs.com may charge Advertisers interest on late payment at the rate of 12.5% per annum and reserves the right to recoup any collection costs incurred from the Advertiser. Saltwaterjobs.com also reserves the right to disable your account with Saltwaterjobs.com without notice and refuse to supply further services to your organization if your invoice is not paid within our required trading terms.
- Advertisers agree that pursuant to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Saltwaterjobs.com may obtain from either a credit reporting agency or other credit providers:
- personal credit information about the Advertiser and/or its directors for the purpose of assessing an Advertiser’s commercial credit application; and
- a consumer credit report about the Advertiser for the purpose of collecting overdue payments relating to commercial credit owed by the Advertiser.

- Saltwaterjobs.com accepts no responsibility and is not liable for the content of any job notices as they appear on the Site. Users acknowledge that Saltwaterjobs.com has no control over and is not liable for the quality, safety or standard of positions advertised on the Site or the truth or accuracy of the information contained in the job notices. Any illustrations or photographs displayed on the Site are solely for the guidance of prospective candidates and are not to be relied upon.
- Saltwaterjobs.com gives no guarantee of continued availability of any particular job and will not be responsible should a recruiter have filled the vacancy at any time.
- Saltwaterjobs.com will not be liable for any loss caused by a failure to complete an application.
- The Site may include links to third party sites which are not related to Saltwaterjobs.com and in relation to which Saltwaterjobs.com has no control or interest. The appearance of those links on this Site does not indicate any relationship between Saltwaterjobs.com and that third party or any endorsement by Saltwaterjobs.com of that third party, its site or the products or services which it is advertising on that site.
